Sea Jelly Fossil

Description

Like many other cnidarians, sea jellies have soft bodies. They are saucer-like marine animals with a mouth in the center, surrounded by four oral arms. This Sea Jelly fossil was found in the Francis Creek shale of the Carbondale formation, and lived in the Pennsylvanian period.
