Front: Man in a carriage with horse and two women in front of wooden house. Back (not shown): text on back reads "I thought you would like to see my shack so here it is and you can see Keota to the wind was blowing pretty hard see my xxx..." Postcard is signed "Frank Trumbo." Frank Trumbo communicated with Clyde Stanley in the 1960's many times and visited him in Keota. Their friendship grew because they were both newspapermen and his father was interested in information about his family's time in Keota.

Per AZahller's APF in accession file: The donor contacted me after visiting the Destination Colorado exhibit. The donor's father communicated with Clyde Stanley in the 1960's many times and visited him in Keota. Their friendship grew because they were both newspapermen and his father was interested in information about his family's time in Keota. The photo was sent by e-mail, and is the only picture the donor has of his family (Trumbo) in front of their house on the homestead.
