Negative, Anti-War Rally in Denver

Digital copy of a film negative taken by photographer Juan Espinosa, circa 1971-1973. The photograph depicts anti-Vietnam War demonstrators on the steps of the Colorado state capitol building in Denver, Colorado. Many of the protestors were activists in the Chicano civil rights movement, including members of the United Mexican-American Students (UMAS) organization from the University of Colorado Boulder. Protestors hold signs that read "BOULDER AGAINST THE WAR" and "RAZA SI, GUERRA NO."
