Several 10th Mountain Division soldiers and a military policeman can be seen standing in front of a large assembled crowd of German POWs. They are resting, with many sitting down or milling about. In the background, some train cards and buildings in an unidentified Italian town can be seen.

Provenance:

Pictures taken by Ralph Hulbert, Company F, 86th Mountain Infantry Regiment, 10th Mountain Division. Hulbert was a scout sniper and one of two known soldiers equipped as archers in Italy. Copies of many of the included photographs were also donated to the Denver Public Library and can be found in their image database.
