Geometric shapes are often used to create simple and abstract graphics.

Create rhythmic visual balance to enhance the aesthetics. 

It’s your turn! You will need a photocopied ink painting, 12-inch plastic ruler, pencil, cutting mat.

When using the diagonal segregation approach, it is better to create grids of the same size. Therefore, the students should rely on the width of the ruler to create grids of equal width. 

Rearrange the composition of the painting.

Paste the new arrangement onto a piece of white paper.
